Dear ICS Families,
I want to update you on our building progress. At this point our current contract for the Polytech property has expired due to the fact that our financing has not been finalized. We are still continuing to pursue the bond financing with Legacy One. However, in addition to this, we are working with other banks to make our acquisition of this property a reality. Please continue to pray as we diligently move through the financing papers, and specifically for the multiple meetings the Board and I have scheduled with various banks. If you have not done so, please turn in your pledges as soon as possible. Continue to enjoy your summer.
In His Grace,
Robyn Terwilleger
Dear ICS Community,
Something very special happened recently, and I wanted to share it with all of you. Faith Hayden, who just finished first grade at ICS, visited my office on the last day of school and presented me with over $500 for the One Heart, One Community, One Campus campaign. The school is very grateful for every donation, but the way Faith raised this money especially touched my heart. For her birthday party in May, she requested that guests bring a donation for the building fund, instead of a gift for her. Thank you to each guest for your generosity and to Faith for this selfless act. Your thoughtfulness and passion for our new campus is an inspiration to us all.
In His love and mine,
Mrs. Terwilleger

We are down to our last two challenges, which are securing the financing for the building and raising the money for our down payment. Thank you to the many families who have brought in pledges and donations this week. The thermometer is steadily moving up. Please keep praying for these last two challenges before us. We are almost at the finish line, so let’s press on together and watch God accomplish all He planned for ICS.
Please join us for a time of prayer this Tuesday, May 3rd from 9:15 to 10:15 am in Room 118 at the Winter Park Campus. We will serve bagels and coffee, so please RSVP to Lisa Bocchino at lbocchino@icsfla.org by Monday, May 2nd if you plan on attending. Thanks to Yolanda Spence for leading the Moms in Touch prayer group every Tuesday morning.
Dear ICS Community,
I pray that you had a wonderful Spring Break and have come back refreshed and ready to finish the race well until the end of the school year. I have some very exciting news to share with you. During Spring Break, we had our Board of Adjustment meeting with Seminole County. This was the meeting where we requested our two exceptions of having increased student enrollment and building a gym on the new site. At this meeting, both requests were approved. This is fantastic news for the school. Now we only have two more hurdles to overcome. The first is securing a lender. LegacyOne is the financial group that is assisting us in our search, and they are pursuing multiple contacts.
The second challenge is raising our down payment. To date we have raised $157,444.37 toward this project. At our March Community Meeting, every family filled out a survey. From that survey, we learned that over 90 families still plan to give to the One Heart, One Community, One Campus campaign. This is thrilling news! I believe that if everyone who is able and willing to contribute will do so, we will have the amount we need for the down payment. We need everyone who plans to give, or has pledged to give, to submit their donations by May 3rd. However, we can close sooner and begin our renovations at the new facility if the funds come in before that date.
You can pick up pledge cards or drop off donations in the office at either campus. Letters to friends and extended family are also available at the Winter Park office. If you would like to share our good news with others and ask if they would like to have a part in this exciting step for ICS, feel free to stop by and pick up as many as you would like.
As we have walked through this process, I have watched us pray as a school and be able to jump over every hurdle. The Lord has cleared our way as we continue to walk in faith, believing that this is His school and that we will be expanding His vision. He has been gracious and good to us in every way. He also continues to guide and direct us that this is our permanent home. I am asking that every family continue to make this a matter of prayer. Let’s stand together and watch as the Lord gives us this site for His glory! Thank you for your prayers and support.
In His grace,

The town hall meeting was great fun! Thanks to all who participated. Please turn in pledges as soon as possible.
We are working with Seminole County to resolve all zoning issues. Everything looks good so far, however, the exemption we have asked for needs approval.
The Board selected J.L. Wallis from Fort Myers as our builder for the new gym and high school classrooms, while Jim Ilardi, with The Fresh Air Group, is overseeing the renovations.
Currently, Legacy One is pursuing a lender with a good interest rate.
Please pray for the following.
- For favor with the county
- For the right lender and low interest rate
- That the appraisal will match what we need
- That the project will end in time for the 2011/2012 school year.
